Marilisa Chronea is an actress, performer, theatre pedagogue. She has been collaborating since 2001 in performance, theatre, dance, street theatre, playback theatre. She graduated in Civil Engineering from NTUA, ARCHI Drama School and Lakis Kouretzis Theatre Pedagogy Workshop. She was further trained in physical theatre, improvisational dance (butoh, contact improvisation) and playback theatre through participation in the Playback Ψ group (2009-2012) and attended DramaTherapy and Playtherapy Conferences. She teaches theatre to children and adolescents, animates theatre groups, pedagogical programs and themed theatre games connecting art to the natural world and science, and occasionaly creates original theatrical texts. For publishing houses she has presented books through theatre play and dramatization. She has created performances, both individually and with groups of actors. As a member of Plan Bee theatre group, she directed the performances “SuperWoman”, “Kleoniki ‘s Journey”, “Anemi’s Wedding”. Collaborations: “The Rape of the Sabine Women” dir. Eve Sussman, Cultural Olympiad 2004 M.Hatzidakis-The Birds dir. Claude Krespin, with Magikes Svoures (2008-2023) theatrical performances for children in theatres in Athens and all over Greece. She taught Acting in Negotiations for the Diploma in Negotiations – continuing education for adults AUEB (2016-2019) and in collaboration with Aegean College (2020-2024) she taught Theatre, Arts & Play in Learning to pedagogy students.

During her participation in the Annual Scenography Laboratoty (2018–2019), she carried out an artistic research project inspired by the figure of Joan of Arc, based on Bernard Shaw’s play Saint Joan.
